Meet the team
Troy Douglin
Physiotherapy Course Leader
Troy, who played for Torquay United and Celtic and is now also a part-time Physio at Wolves FC Academy, is the University’s Course Leader in Physiotheraphy.
Troy is a musculoskeletal extended scope Physiotherapist with a special interest in Osteoarthritis.
Following his football career, Troy graduated from the University of Wolverhampton with a first class honours degree in Physiotherapy, specialising in biomechanics within sport and exercise science.
Following this, he received his Masters degree in Physiotherapy and went on to become a Trauma and Orthopaedic Research Associate for Warwick Medical School.
Troy is also part of the Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club medical team and continues to work on a part-time basis as a Chartered Physiotherapist.
He has also completed his Musculoskeletal Medicine training with the Society of Musculoskeletal Medicine, and was one of the first Physiotherapists in the country to be able to prescribe medicines and provide cutting edge procedures for patients in his care.

Booking policies
To secure an appointment via our online scheduling system, you are required to pre-pay for the desired service.
Cancellation policies
If you have to cancel your appointment, you will receive a full refund if cancelled within 7 days of the appointment. Refunds are not available for cancellations made within 7 days of your appointment, but you will be able to reschedule.
If you need to rearrange your appointment, please refer to your booking confirmation email.

Pre-appointment policies
If you are booking a biomechanics test, you will be directed to complete and submit and Informed Consent Form and Pre-Test Questionnaire.
If you are booking a physiology test, you will be directed to complete and submit and Informed Consent Form, Pre-Test Questionnaire and Questionnaire for potential participants in projects involving blood analysis.
These forms will be accessible via your booking confirmation email should you need to update them.
